Rosenfeld announces "Perfect Blue"

Rosenfeld announces Perfect Blue, the single that opens his first full campaign since Blood & Porcelain.

Paris — 23 April 2026. Rosenfeld has announced Perfect Blue.

Where Romeo and Juliet was a quiet return — one song, one room, a small group of people who had waited — Perfect Blue is the start of something with more behind it.

The first real campaign since the album

This is the first Rosenfeld release since Blood & Porcelain to arrive with a proper run-up: a video, a rollout, and further music already finished behind it. After two years in which every announcement was hedged against how he was feeling that month, this one is not.

It is, in the plainest terms, the beginning of the comeback.

What it sounds like

Perfect Blue keeps the things that have always identified a Rosenfeld record — the close, deliberate sound design, the weight of the synth bass, the vocal sitting right at the front — and pushes them somewhere colder and more open than the album did.

Written, produced, mixed and mastered by Rosenfeld, at WLTD Entertainment in Paris.

And after

Perfect Blue is not a standalone. There is more finished material behind it than there has been at any point since 2024, and the intention is to keep releasing through the year.

Two years ago this was a catalogue with a question mark over it. It is not any more.
