Simon Rosenfeld
Simon Rosenfeld is a French singer, songwriter and producer who records as Rosenfeld, and the founder and owner of the Paris label WLTD Entertainment.
Simon Rosenfeld is a French singer, songwriter and record producer based in Paris. He records under the name Rosenfeld, and is the founder and owner of WLTD Entertainment, the independent label and publisher that holds his catalogue.
His work is primarily creative — writing, producing and performing — alongside the executive side of running the label: long-term strategy and finance.
As an artist
Rosenfeld is Simon Rosenfeld's artist project. The catalogue includes the eleven-track album Blood & Porcelain, released on 14 February 2024. Undressed preceded it as a single in January 2024; music videos were also made for the album tracks Porcelain and Faith.
He produces for Myla, whose catalogue WLTD also holds. Myla is his sister.
As a label owner
Simon founded WLTD Entertainment to hold the rights to his own masters and compositions. The company grew to hold Myla's songs and works as well, and now manages both catalogues, handling distribution through Warner Music France and ADA, publishing administration through SACEM, and neighbouring rights through SCPP.
He also organises WLTD's writing camps, which bring outside writers, producers and composers together with WLTD's own writers.
Every sync licence and every spend at WLTD goes through him.
Background
He holds an engineering degree in IT and writes code by choice — an unusual background for a label owner, and one that shows in how WLTD runs its catalogue: the identifier and registration discipline that decides whether a royalty ever reaches the person owed it is treated as an engineering problem rather than an administrative afterthought.
