WLTD Entertainment establishes its headquarters in Paris
WLTD Entertainment has incorporated in France and made Paris its headquarters, moving its base from the United Kingdom.
Paris — February 2022. WLTD Entertainment has incorporated in France and made Paris its headquarters.
The company was first registered in the United Kingdom in November 2020. The move brings it to the city where its work has always actually happened.
Why Paris
Everything WLTD does is already here. Rosenfeld writes, produces, mixes and masters in Paris. Myla records here. The writing camps run here, bringing writers, producers and composers into France to work together. The label's partners are here.
A company registered in one country while its entire creative operation sits in another is an arrangement that makes sense for exactly as long as it takes to outgrow it. WLTD outgrew it.
What it changes
For listeners, nothing. The catalogue is unaffected and the releases continue.
What it changes is the footing. A French company can work directly with French institutions, French partners and the French music industry on its own terms rather than through an intermediary structure — and for a label whose artists are French, writing in Paris and exporting outward, that matters more than it sounds.
WLTD Entertainment is an independent music label and publisher founded by Simon Rosenfeld. Its catalogue is distributed worldwide by Warner Music France and ADA.
